    Looking for some advice here as we have no idea about Austin. Moving with Elementary and High school kids. Best area to start with Good schools and community. Initially planning to rent and then later on buy own home..looking for some suggestions??

    We moved here from Michigan last summer.. the 1st thing we did was to see the commute time of locations from my husbands work from downtown. Then we looked at schools with ratings of 8 and above. We are currently renting in the Eanes ISD school district. Lots of diversity, and a good amount of desi families in the district. Circle C area that is with Austin ISD is good too, RoundRock, Lake Travis ISD, had good shcools too, but are a bit farther out, and you have a longer commute time for work.

    Sreejith, there are lot of good schools in Austin. The other point you need to consider is the daily commute (when life becomes normal). Ping me and I can help you with all your questions,
